The Silver Surfer is unable to destroy the Fantastic Four to free Shalla-Bal from Dr. Doom's control. However, he places them in a trance and delivers them to Dr. Doom instead. They are able to break free from Doom's imprisonment and destroy a number of his humanoids, but it was all just a way for Doom to delay them. He needed time to collect the Surfer's Power Cosmic in order to construct a duplicate who will be able to actually destroy the Fantastic Four.

9.2 Grade - Almost perfect, almost as new, with white or off-white pages. Tight, flat and clean with only extremely light wear around an edge or a staple. At first glance you might think it is Mint but a second, closer inspection may reveal a tiny imperfection. The pages should be uniform in colour with no discernible edge difference. No staple rust. Near Mint really does mean near to mint condition. For American comics, a discreet UK pence stamp is permissible. For British comics, a neat, newsagent name (ideally in pencil) written at the top is permissible.
